The annual Appleumpkin Arts & Scarecrow Festival falls on the second full weekend of October and offers entertainment, the make-it take-it booths, and the farmers' market. Everyone (families, organizations, businesses, and individuals!) is invited to create a scarecrow exhibit and put it on display during the festival.
